We’re All Going To Die by Malcolm Middleton - Christmas no.1?

Terry Lane - Saturday 22.12.07, 14:35pm

We’re All Going To Die by Malcolm Middleton - Christmas no.1Buzzin’ Music has joined the campaign, along with Tom Robinson, Bob Dylan & Radio 1 dj’s Colin Murray, Judith Bowman and Scott Mills among others to get Malcolm Middleton’s We’re All Going To Die to be the UK singles Christmas number 1.

Christmas number 1’s have been fun in the past, like Slade - Merry Xmas, Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday; and not forgetting the best Christmas song never to get to number 1 - The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York.

You can hear the song and watch the promotional video of the former Arab Strap’s Christmas song We’re All Going To Die on Malcolm Middleton’s My Space page .

Colin Murray urged people to download the song on his Radio 1 programme:

“Go ahead and sign up to Malcolm’s My Space, lets start getting an idea of how many people are going to buy this beautiful record.”

Heed the call of all music fans across the UK and join the campaign to get We’re All Gonna To Die to beat the X-Factor song (what and whoever it is) off the top of the UK singles charts for Christmas.

It might be too late to bet as odds have been slashed by William Hill from 1000/1 to 12/1. But you can still join the Malcolm Middleton Christmas Number 1 Facebook Group.

As Middleton says

“Dying is a bit like writing a letter to santa. Unless you’ve been a good boy or girl, you’re fucked”
