Tiny Spark

Tiny Spark release their second EP, the follow up to their debut EP Alaska, on The Animal Farm record label.

The digital release will be followed by the physical release of a limited edition 6-track EP, containing material from both releases and the music video for the new title track.

For You The World Waits, the ‘Bond-esque’ title track of the EP, is Tiny Spark’s nod to their film school past in which they composed original scores for independent films. The Next Thing You Know is big band sixties pop whilst September is an ode to mischievous student living.

Hailing from South London and Portsmouth, Tiny Spark make indie pop music but attempt to include their love of filmscores and dynamic soundscapes in their music, too. For major influences they cite Doves, Elton John, A Girl Called Eddy and Ryan Adams, along with any artist to be found on a sixties mix tape!

In 2008 the band gained an endorsement from the clothing brand Ben Sherman, and released their debut EP Alaska which was met with critical acclaim. Through the success of the release, Tiny Spark have been offered various festival slots including Tommyfest, North by Northwest and headlining position at Raglan Festival, to date.
