THRILL JOCKEY TOUR DATES: Boredoms, The Fiery Furnaces, High Places, Mi Ami, Double Dagger, Trans Am, Lazer Crystal
There is plenty of live music scheduled for May and June from the Thrill Jockey stable, the full details and dates are below:
Japanese avant rock legends BOREDOMS will be bringing their legendary multi-drummer Boadrum performance to London’s Forum for one night only this May, in addition to their appearance at the Matt Groening curated All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival. Boredoms plus guest line-up is as follows:

Chicago’s Lazer Crystal combine swirling synth chords with slick drum wizardry and deadpan vocals to create the perfect cross between dance jams and intricate rock. In addition to playing the Pavement ATP in May, The Fiery Furnaces‘ brother/sister duo of Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger are playing a date at The Great Escape. Their album I’m Going Away came out last year. Look out for further releases later in the year.

One of those bands that you HAVE to see live, Mi Ami will be hitting our shores in support of their new album Steal Your Face which is out this month. What can only be described at once as: earsplitting, jagged, shrieking, nuanced, pre-verbal and chaotic is also an all around party. Mi Ami takes your standard four piece: drums, bass, guitar and vocals and transforms into something fresh and creatively powerful.
