Amy Winehouse, five grammy award winner at the 50th Grammy awards this year, is the latest addition to the growing number of artistes appearing at this years spectacular Rockinrio Madrid concerts.

The event is scheduled over five days, starting on June 27th and 28th, with a short break until the last three dates of July 4th, 5th & 6th. Amy Winehouse is set to appear on the 4th July along with James Morrison, Jamiroquai and Shakira among others.

The Police will headline events on the 5th July, with what is expected to be their last performance together, and in conclusion to their world tour. Support will come from Spanish king of Latin pop Alejandro Sanz and US singer songwriter Suzzanne Vega.

Lenny Kravitz will close the festival on the 6th July, and he shares the bill with Franz Ferdinand, Chris Cornell, John Digweed, Sasha and DJ Vibe.

Veteran Grandfather of Grunge Neil Young as just been announced along with Jack Johnson for the opening night on 27th June. Alanis Morrisette and The Right Ones are also confirmed for the opening night.
