Rumours that former record label EMI will be releasing a Radiohead Greatest hits album, to coincide with the bands summer tour, have left the band members non plussed.
EMI released a box set collection of the Radiohead back catalogue with the label at the end of last year, after the band had defected to rival label XL records.
Response’s from the band members include guitarist Ed O’Brien who, when informed of the rumour, mused “They are planning to release a greatest hits to coincide with our tour? Thats an interesting one. We wont be doing any promotion for that, obviously!
While drummer Phil Selway states that EMI are “Well within their rights to do it. We will have to see.”
