Pete Doherty is expected to perform with local band The Thirst at Brixton’s Jamm club, on Friday 8 February. It is widely rumoured in the music press that the Babyshambles frontman will join The Thirst on stage as they launch a Rock against Racism Club night.

Doherty has turned up to perform unbilled, on several occasions at small music venues, and was most recently seen in December at The Tap & Tin pub in Kent’s Medway towns, where he joined the cheeky cockney geezers, Chas & Dave on stage, for a rousing rendition of No Pleasing You.
