Fans who turned up at Inn on the Green at Ladbroke Grove on Friday, to see former Clash guitarist Mick Jones new band Carbon/Silicons were in for a real treat. Jones was joined on stage by former Clash drummer Topper Headon for a rousing encore of the Clash songs Train in vain and Should I stay or should I go? The pair have not appeared on stage together for 25 years.
While Generation X’s Tony James is in the band with Jones, the Sex Pistols Glen Matlock was spotted in the crowd while Don Letts was seen filming the gig.
Carbon/Silicon will be playing the next six Friday nights at the club. Tickets are not available in advance but can be purchased from the bar on the night, for just 10 Pounds each. Excellent value !
