Led Zeppelin guitar hero, Jimmy Page, has revealed that a fractured finger suffered during a fall, has prevented the band from rehearsing any new material for the forthcoming gig. The injury has forced the band to postpone the most highly anticipated gig of the decade, for two weeks. The rearranged date is 10th December.
After waiting for 25 years, it is unlikely that another two weeks will affect the bands faithful followers.
The band had hoped to include some new songs into the show, but Page has said that there has been no time for that, suggesting that they would have had enough material for two albums, if he hadn’t hurt his finger.
Page was speaking after claiming the Living Legend award at the Classic Rock Roll of Honours at the Landmark Hotel in London.
