Kooks bassist Max Rafferty has left the band, ahead of their UK tour and release of their much anticipated second album Konks.
Rafferty has been missing from the line up on various occasions in the past, due to illness. He has also quit the band a number of times, but this time it seems to be for good.
The band have issued a statement to confirm that Rafferty has indeed left and that Dan Logan from the local Brighton band Cat the Dog will be filling in short term. They have also confirmed that their tour will go ahead as scheduled.
