Ahead of their NME tour show at Brixton Academy tonight, Cribs bassist Gary Jarman revealed that ex Smiths guitarist Jonny Marr is becoming an integral part of the band.
Marr has regularly appeared on stage with the band throughout the tour, and Jarman spoke to XFM in an exclusive interview about the prospect of a permanent place in the band for the guitarist.
“He’s gradually working his way into more and more songs, so he’s doing about five or six with us now. He very much understands the band and everything he comes up with is really great stuff that we’d want on there anyway.”
