Damon Albarn has revealed that his record company thought it would be a good idea for him and Lily Allen to have a go at recording together. The former Blur singer says however that the experiment did not go well at all. “I jumped on the piano and played some mad stuff and she just looked at me” says Albarn in the Sun today. “The record company thought it would be a good idea. Shes a talented kid but it was a bad idea.”
Albarn has also spoken about the speculation over a Blur reunion, and why it hasn’t happened. “I had dinner with the guys recently and it was a laugh, but there’s no way they want to work with me again-they all hate me.”
