The new single from Metric will be Eclipse (All Yours), taken from The Twilight Saga:Eclipse Original Movie Soundtrack, it has been announced.

Eclipse (All Yours) will be released on August 16th, the second track to be released from the soundtrack album, following Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever) by Muse which came out in June.

The track Eclipse (All Yours) is the first new material to be released by Metric since their critically acclaimed fourth album Fantasies and the track looks set to be a massive hit for the Canadian band as Twilight mania once again takes a grip on the UK.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack is the musical companion to the third smash installment of Summits film franchise.  The album entered the Soundtrack chart at number one and has already sold in excess of 75,000 copies in the UK.  The film is the largest midnight opener in history in the US, it was released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland by E1 Entertainment last weekend.

In addition to Metric and Muse “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” soundtrack features new songs from Florence + The Machine, The Dead Weather, Vampire Weekend, Cee Lo Green, The Bravery, Beck and Bat For Lashes, UNKLE featuring The Black Angels, Fanfarlo and more. Each recording featured is exclusive to the soundtrack, having never been released previously.

One of the most eagerly awaited movie soundtracks for a long time, The Twilight Saga : New Moon, is now available through Atlantic Records featuring an all original track listing totally exclusive to the New Moon soundtrack.

The first single to be taken from the album is Death Cab for Cutie’s excellent Meet Me On The Equinox which is released on October 26th but is already receiving plenty of radio air time having featured as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ a week or two ago.

The movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon is released in the UK on November 20th. The Twilight soundtrack has so far sold in excess of 170,000 copies in the UK and over 3.5 million world wide.
