It was a case of deja vu at Auckland International airport on Sunday as Icelandic singer Bjork arrived in New Zealand to perform at The Big Day Out Festival, later this week. It is reported that the singer tore into a photographer at the airport in scenes reminiscent of Thailand 12 years ago.
According to the photographer, he had taken a couple of shots of Bjork and was turning to walk away when the unprovoked attack occurred. He claims that the singer grabbed and tore his tee shirt, and as she did this “she fell over, fell to the ground. At no time did I touch her or speak with her.”
The incident is being investigated by the New Zealand Police.
