A "best of the year" list is nothing unless it causes debate. I liked this album, especially "Love is Noise" which I think is as good as "The Drugs Don't Work", "This Time" & other Verve classics. I was also surprised how powerful Richard Ashcroft's voice is when I saw him play live armed only with an acoustic guitar at an August Festival. LOL.
