Its pretty fair to say that the nominations for this years Brit Awards were, lets say disappointing. I am not really sure how we should take the news that Take That are among the handful of best bands in the UK.
Obviously I am not alone in these thoughts as Arctic Monkeys front-man Alex Turner is said to be deliberating over whether or not the band will attend the awards. Arctic Monkeys are nominated in three categories, while Take That feature in four. They would clash on best group and best album.
Turners indecision is thought to relate to his comments at the Q awards a couple of years ago when he described Take That as “a load of bollox”.
